Laura Avnaim is an award-winning actor, writer and comedian, known primarily for her dramatic work in film and television, as well as improv comedy performances. Her most recent credits include a recurring role on Apple TV's Swagger, opposite O'Shea Jackson Jr. A professional level horseback rider and US nationally ranked swimmer, Laura also has firearms and martial arts training.
She has trained at some of the top studios in Los Angeles, including Lesly Kahn & Company, Margie Haber, Upright Citizens Brigade, and Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop. Additionally she hosted a popular live cooking show on Twitch for two years. She was a 2023 finalist for the Yes, And... Laughter Lab for her comedic series on female sexual dysfunction. Laura moved from Los Angeles to New Zealand 2 years ago for a change of pace, and is loving it so far! She also enjoys traveling, hiking, mountain biking, and creative baking. She is a bunny mom to Houdini, an adorable little escape artist who sheds too much.
