SWAGGER
Swagger is an American sports drama television series which premiered on October 29, 2021 on Apple TV+. It was created by Reggie Rock Bythewood, and is loosely inspired by the experiences of NBA player Kevin Durant. In June of 2022, the series was renewed for a second season. Swagger has garnered critical acclaim from critics for its writing, acting, production values and social commentary. Laura came on in a Recurring role in Season 2 as Mary, Kathryn's kindhearted PreSchool Teacher. The series explores the world of youth basketball, focusing on the players, their families, and coaches as they navigate the fine line between dreams and ambition, and the potential for opportunism and corruption within the sport's system. It addresses positive messages about work ethic, teamwork, and perseverance, while also tackling serious social issues like police brutality and racial stereotypes.
